Playwriting Works

My playwriting style utilizes imaginative worldbuilding, climate-focused messages, and playful dialogue that aspires to inspire. Some artistic inspirations of mine include any work from Studio Ghibli, Samuel Beckett and the Absurdist genre, and the wonderful playfulness of Oscar Wilde. I aspire to write stories that tackle contemorary themes with messages of climate justice, feminism, queer love, and hope.

Please check out these works, and enjoy!

In a near-future Pacific Northwest, the flow of nature is no longer marked by the seasons of Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, but now Smog, Acid Rain, Drought, and Fire Season.

Fossil-fueled greenwashing has led to government corruption and public normalization, even celebration, of these New Seasons marked by seasonal Festivals. It may be up to a team of four youth living on the outskirts of New Seattle to revolutionize the Pacific Northwest.

Translated in English as, "Look at the Look", this silly title references the death-defying escape room puzzle that three college besties must unravel in this whimsically comedic one act play.

Inspired by Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett, two college friends reunite in their favorite hometown cafe waiting for their coffee order that never comes.

Written at a high point of the COVID-19 pandemic over zoom with Livia Cohen, this one act play imagines an eigth grader still in quarantine during Fall of 2021. They invite their two bickering friends to celebrate their birthday over zoom with paranormal plans in mind to reunite them.
